Plant Hierarchy

Plant Hierarchy Configuration

Overview

The Plant Hierarchy Configuration module is the core structural engine of the Decisyon LOOP platform. It allows App Administrator users to define a logical and physical plant structure by establishing a clear hierarchy: Modules, Lines, Machines, and Components.

App Administrators can create, modify, or delete elements at any level of the hierarchy. To maintain data integrity and consistency, the system enforces a strict validation rule: an element can only be deleted if it is no longer associated with other objects in the hierarchy. This ensures that historical data and operational relationships remain intact.

Plant Hierarchy Setup

Accessing the Plant Configuration menu within the Lean Operations Optimizer environment to begin the hierarchy setup.

How to...

1

Plant Hierarchy Configuration Main Menu

Select the Plant Hierarchy Configuration module to access the central dashboard where the App Administrator manages the relationship between modules, lines, machines, and components.

2

Module Configuration

Select Module Configuration as the entry point to define the highest level of the plant hierarchy.

Module Configuration Management

This is the dedicated interface for creating and editing modules. Users can:

  • Add, Edit, and Delete Modules.

  • Navigate back to the main hierarchy folder via the breadcrumb link.
